Painting on canvas 6x8 Three Flowers

Wildflowers bloom like crazy in the rural areas of Florida in the spring. In April and early May, take a drive down the back roads and highways to find fields of yellow stretching way back over hillsides. Purple and pink run like veins in the medians and on the roadsides. If you stop to pick 'em, take with you a couple of tips. Watch for ants, and rattlers, they'll getcha alright. The bees won't bother you if you don't bother them. Don't pick the white wildflowers, they will sting you. Be kind and limit your take and try not to leave a bald spot.

This is an acrylic painting on canvas. The dimensions are 6x8 inches.

I use Apple Barrel brand, indoor-outdoor, gloss acrylic paint. I mix my own colors from red, yellow, green and blue. I also use their black and white. I find the colors to be eye popping, easy to blend, and mixes well with pouring medium or water. The colors stay beautiful even in partial sun and rain though I don’t recommend putting canvas in the rain.
