Painting on canvas 6x8 Floating Ladybug

This is a darling little painting of a warm yellow flower and a red and black ladybug. I mean, this is the first one of these floating things on canvas paintings done, and I was like whoa, that’s interesting especially when I saw it worked. Now, you have to be gentle with the ladybug and her spring, like don’t be boinging it or anything like that. But if you do break it, just a small dot or two of super glue will fix it, no worries.

This is an acrylic painting on canvas. The dimensions are 6x8 inches.
The ladybug is raised off the canvas about 1/2 an inch on a wire spring fastened to the canvas with super glue.

I use Apple Barrel brand, indoor-outdoor, gloss acrylic paint. I mix my own colors from red, yellow, green and blue. I also use their black and white. I find the colors to be eye popping, easy to blend, and mixes well with pouring medium or water. The colors stay beautiful even in partial sun and rain.
