Painting on canvas 6x8 Floating Yellow Butterfly

This is a sweet teal and yellow flower painting, and the pretty yellow and black butterfly has lighted on the pedals to feast.

This is an acrylic painting on canvas. The dimensions are 6x8 inches.
The butterfly is raised off the canvas about 1/2 an inch on a wire spring fastened to the canvas with super glue.

I use Apple Barrel brand, indoor-outdoor, gloss acrylic paint. I mix my own colors from red, yellow, green and blue. I also use their black and white. I find the colors to be eye popping, easy to blend, and mixes well with pouring medium or water. The colors stay beautiful even in partial sun and rain.
